By using Sukoon, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Information Collection and Use

We do not collect, store, or share your personal data.

Sukoon is designed to be a private and non-intrusive application. We do not require you to create an account, nor do we track your identity or usage analytics. If you grant location permission, your location is used on your device to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction — we never store it or send it to any server of ours (see Section 3 for the one optional city-name lookup).

• Local Storage: Your preferences (such as your favorite Surahs, Reciters, Theme, and Language settings) are stored locally on your own device. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• No Tracking: We do not use tracking cookies, analytics SDKs, or advertising identifiers.

3. Third-Party Services & APIs

To provide high-quality Quranic audio and text, Sukoon fetches data from publicly available third-party APIs in real-time. When you use the app to stream audio or read the Quran, your device connects directly to:

• AlQuran.cloud & Quran.com APIs: Used to fetch Surah text, translations, and precise audio timings.
• Recitation & athkar audio hosts (EveryAyah.com, HisnMuslim.com, jsDelivr, GitHub): Used to stream or download recitation and supplication audio files.
• QuranGo.net & RadioJar: Used to stream live 24/7 Quran radio stations.
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim (city-name lookup): If you grant location permission, your approximate coordinates are sent to nominatim.openstreetmap.org solely to display your city's name on the prayer-times screen. Prayer times and Qibla direction themselves are calculated entirely on your device. No identifier other than your IP address accompanies this request, and OpenStreetMap's privacy policy applies to it.

These requests are anonymous and do not contain personal identifiers from Sukoon. However, please be aware that standard network data (such as your IP address) is inherently visible to these third-party servers when your device requests data from them. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

4. Data Security

Because we do not collect or store any of your personal data on remote servers, there is no risk of your personal data being breached through our systems. Your settings are secured by your device's native OS sandboxing mechanisms.

5. Children's Privacy

Sukoon is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, nor do we collect personal information from anyone else.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time if the functionality of the app changes (for example, if we introduce an optional cloud-sync feature in the future). Any changes will be posted on this page.
